Tasmanian Devil Reproduction

Tasmanian devils reach sexual maturity at 2 years of age. The gestation period takes 21 days. 20-30 young are born, but since the mother has only 4 nipples, only 3-4 will survive. They are carried in the pouch for 4 months and weaned at 5 or 6 months.
